Drive Claude Code from your Apple Watch while you walk, run or lift.

Speak a task, put your arm down. The watch taps you when a session has a question or finishes. Prompts go through your own iCloud to Walkabit for Mac, which runs Claude Code for you. There are no Walkabit servers and no API keys.

You need an Apple Watch, an iPhone, and a Mac signed in to Claude Code that stays awake while you train.

The home screen, watchOS simulator, 46 mm.

How it works

This is a real 32-minute walk. I started two sessions from the wrist and never took my phone out.

Under the hood: watch → your private iCloud (CloudKit) → Walkabit for Mac → the official claude CLI, signed in with your own plan. When you finish, the phone makes a receipt with your heart rate next to the PRs you opened.

Getting started

  1. Install Walkabit for Mac. It's a signed package, and it checks that Claude Code is signed in. Install guide
  2. Install Walkabit from TestFlight on your iPhone; the watch app comes with it. Use the same Apple ID as the Mac.
  3. Start a workout, tap › new task, speak.
  4. The beta is free. At launch it will be a one-time purchase, with no subscription.

Questions

Do you see my code or prompts?
No. There's no server to see them on. They go from your iCloud to your Mac.
Does it use my Claude plan?
Yes, the same as typing claude yourself. Walkabit doesn't resell model access.
What if it mishears me?
Every prompt is read back before it's sent. Double-tap to send, or re-dictate.
Other agents?
Claude Code first, and that needs a Mac. Other providers are coming through direct API access with your own key, and that route won't need a Mac.
